This four-day asbestos training course provides a general overview of asbestos abatement procedures and worker protection for individuals working on asbestos class I & II projects. Teaching students about regulations, work ethics and safety. Our classes are designed to fit every type of learning capabilities.

Asbestos Worker Initial – 4 days, 32 hours

Topics include: Asbestos Identification, Health Effects, Personal Protective Equipment including Respiratory Protection and Fit Test Procedures, Control Methods, Removal Techniques and Work Practices, Decontamination and Disposal, Health and Safety Issues, and State and Federal Regulations.

Asbestos Supervisor

This five-day asbestos training course is designed for contractors and supervisors who will be responsible for onsite supervision of workers on asbestos class I & II projects that involve the removal, encapsulation or enclosure of friable or non-friable asbestos-containing materials (ACM).  This course follows EPA's Model Curriculum for asbestos supervisor training.

Asbestos Worker Refresher

According to Oracle Solutions, refresher training should be given every year, or more frequently if work methods change; the type of equipment used to control exposure changes; the type of work carried out changes significantly; or gaps in competency are identified. The main reason for the update is as a reminder. For those that require asbestos awareness training, usually, their normal day-to-day roles will not need them to have huge interaction with asbestos-related issues and tasks. Refresher of asbestos awareness training keeps people’s knowledge fresh and up-to-date. That way if they do have a reason to call upon that knowledge, they have a better chance of remembering the relevant informationw.
